Ann Konopacky

Vilas County Board Supervisor
Town Treasurer, Town of Arbor Vitae

Ann Konopacky holds a bachelor’s degree in business education and elementary education from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and a master’s degree in education from Viterbo University. She taught high school at Owen-Withee for three years and taught grades 4-8, mainly math, at Minocqua-Hazelhurst-Lake Tomahawk Elementary School for 25 years. After retiring from education, Ann became treasurer for the Town of Arbor Vitae. While working in the town office, an opportunity arose to get involved with local government. Ann was appointed as District 5 Supervisor – Town of Arbor Vitae to the Vilas County Board. While on the board, she became the representative to the North Central WorkForce Development Board.

Ann grew up in Wausau but has lived in Arbor Vitae since 1991. She enjoys everything the Northwoods has to offer, especially tooling around in the pontoon boat, gardening, kayaking, paddle boarding, biking, and fishing with her fiancé and UW Badger daughter.
