Regional Director, Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation

Jim Rosenberg is Region 5 Economic Development Director for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. Prior to joining WEDC in 2017, Jim was Business Development Manager for Short Elliot Hendrickson in La Crosse. 

His career has included many years working in public affairs in the energy utility industry, as well as serving as Policy and Communications Director on the Lieutenant Governor’s staff, serving on the academic staff of the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County, and multiple terms of elected office on the Marathon County Board and the Wausau City Council. 

Jim is a U.S. Air Force veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the State of New York.

Jim serves VCEDC as an ex-officio board member.
